Usually the morning attracts me.
But one afternoon, I spotted a golden sky.
Pink, purple, luscious and red.
Above some lit houses
as autumn's wings spread.
Ignore the lights
focus on the celestial brights.

Beyond the horizon
Is a world of wonder
Those colour here on
Life makes us fonder.

avocation

A vocation I seek
Yet, I ponder
Why an outlook bleak
Since I find yonder
Avocation alone.
